From sharp braking to impossible merging, getting your 60 hours of driving practice doesn’t come without its challenges. Sometimes, even finding a good place to drive for beginners seems impossible.
Luckily, these Haven students share their favorite areas to drive around that help them improve their road competence and technique.
Kay Liberi is a junior at Haven and a reporter for the Panther Press. At school, Kay is involved in helping to lead the club Unite 4 Her, managing stage and props in the theater department, and participating in music ensembles like the Haven Marching and Jazz Band. Outside of school she enjoys reading, playing the guitar, babysitting, and spending time with her family and friends.

We are hoping to attend the Fall 2026 National High School Journalism Convention in Orlando, FL, as well as to print additional color pages in the upcoming school year. Contributions also allow us to cover website hosting costs, fund staff training, and purchase equipment. Thank you for considering a donation!
