Strath Haven Girls Lacrosse lost to Springfield Girls Lacrosse 11-8 despite Dignazio and Fox scoring three goals each.

The lacrosse team now stands at a 5-8 overall record.

Springfield put up a tough battle for Haven’s team, and Haven gave it everything they had.

“Today showed a lot of potential and improvement. It didn’t matter what the score was, we kept pushing,” Dignazio said.

The Haven team is still growing, and they put in the work no matter the challenge.

“Our effort is really there,” Fox said. “We just gotta capitalize on the attack. There are gaps in the field because there always are.”

Despite the challenges of the past few weeks, the team hopes to bounce back.

“It’s hard to play teams that are this good over and over again,” senior Maddie Noller said. “It just kind of brings down our spirit a little bit, but we’ll be back for next week.”

Strath Haven’s next game is away against Ridley on April 30.
