Running for Student Council Officer

“As cliche as it sounds, I really want to do the best that I can for Haven. I’m very lucky to go here and have the opportunities that we do, so I want to do everything that I can to expand on that, and I want to make everyone enjoy this school, district, and experience as much as I have.

Everyone says it, but I think communication is such a big thing. We have to be well-informed and know what’s going on. Especially communication between the School Board and students— like handing a piece of paper, saying ‘This is what happens’ and just knowing what’s going on at the school and being better about sharing those opportunities with students, like summer programs and volunteer stuff.

Letting students know that ‘Hey! You go to Haven, you have a lot of amazing things to do. Let me help you do that.’”
