Running for Student Council Officer

“I come from a broad range of activities at Strath Haven. I am a varsity member of the swim team, I have the George Slick Fellowship Award, and I’m also an active drummer in various music groups, so I think I can represent a large student body and just do what’s best for Haven.

I would really focus on making sure there’s a lot of encouragement and participation in the community, and a lot of that would be through promotional posters of upcoming games, concerts, or art shows. I also want to do a monthly survey, which is a lot more laid back than the semi-annual one we get, where it’s just going to be smaller issues where students can really voice their concerns. That way, we have a lot more student input and how our students want their community.”
