Over Presidents’ Day weekend, Strath Haven French students traveled through snowstorms to reach Quebec, Canada for an every other year trip to Quebec City.
The trip, which was pioneered by French teacher Madame Suzanne Stadnicki in 2019, allows students to explore the Canadian city during Winter Carnival, put their French language skills to use, and immerse themselves in the Québécois culture.
Throughout the five-day voyage, including two full days on the bus, students participated in a variety of activities, such as snow tubing, curling, and snowshoeing. The variety and enjoyment of activities exceeded students’ expectations and paved the way for happy memories and new connections.
“It was actually amazing. I feel like I got closer with a lot of people on this trip,” junior Janet Huang said. “I just think that everyone was just having a good time and it was a break from all the school stuff and stress.”
