On the sixth episode of The Panther Pod, hosts Matteo Ventresca and Manny Pickup introduce Gavin Shifflett and Charlie Detweiler, two senior captains for Haven’s boys varsity swimming team, to discuss their passion for the sport. Shifflet committed to American University, and Detweiler committed to Wesleyan University. Both received swimming scholarships.

Manny is a junior at Strath Haven and co-host of The Panther Pod. He plays soccer and baseball for the high school, as well as being the Vice President of the Pickleball Club. He enjoys watching and talking sports, lifeguarding in the summer, and spending time with friends and family.
