One of the biggest complaints of any class is that the course material is inapplicable to life, both now and later on. But, with AP Statistics, this is not a problem. AP Statistics is an elective math class that is a one semester long. This course includes topics ranging from experimentation to probability to all kinds of inference, making it useful in almost any area of study or profession. In addition, unlike other math courses, you do not have to be extremely gifted in math to succeed in Statistics. The teachers, Ms. Esposito and Mrs. Benzing, are both phenomenal, and make the work extremely manageable. There is a mandatory AP test at the end of the year, but with your teacher’s aid and a little effort on your part, you will be well prepared. Statistics is a great course to take, especially if you have an elective slot to fill, and I highly recommend it.
